1) What first sparked your interest in Martial Arts?

I was bullied as a child.

2) How long have you been doing Martial Arts?

Since High School

3) What makes Martial Arts/Wushu special to you? How?

Martial Arts teaches self-confidence, which is the single most important characteristic to success.  It builds self-confidence by providing a blue print to approach all life situations.

4) What keeps you motivated to continue in Martial Arts?

To show others ways to transform Martial Arts to success in other aspects of life.

5) What goes through your mind before you compete?

Competition is a way to "discover yourself."  Only when you push yourself to your limits do you find who you true self.

6) Do you have a ritual or are there certain preparations before a competition or demo? If so, what are they?

Right before a competition I work on stamina.  I run like crazy and drill forms/sparring until I feel like I will pass out.

7) What are the biggest moments in your Martial Arts career?

Filming motion capture with Warner Bros Games.  I have appeared as several characters in some of the biggest video games in the industry.

8) We heard you wrote a book; does it include Martial Arts in the story?Or is it about Martial Arts?

The book translates Martial Arts principles for character development.

9) Is it fiction or non fiction?

Non fiction

10) What inspired you to write this book?

I want to teach others the blueprint to success using Martial Arts principles.
