1) How long have you been doing Martial Arts?

About 4-5 years

2) What first sparked your interest in Martial Arts?

I saw my friends doing it and I thought it was the coolest thing.

3) What makes Martial Arts/Wushu special to you? How?

Expressing myself in life was quite difficult. As I practiced Martial Arts my confidence grew and I wasn't as afraid to show people what I was capable of. Martial arts has helped me grow, and it's still helping me today.

4) What keeps you motivated to continue in Martial Arts?

The fact that there's so much to learn and that I really have the desire to learn.

5) What goes through your mind before you compete?

My forms and telling myself to just relax.

6) Do you have a ritual or are there certain preparations before a competition or demo?

I don't really have any rituals but I definitely go over movements before hand just to warm up and remember what I'm supposed to be doing.

7) What are the biggest moments in your Martial Arts career?

That would have to be when I performed in France at the Bercy Martial Arts Festival

8) What do you like about competing and doing the shows?

The adrenaline rush. Competing and performing shows is definitely scary, and it really gets me excited especially in front of a lot of people. But once I get out there and get really into whatever I'm doing I don't really notice anything but what I'm doing or what me and my team are doing.

9) Do you think that your visible presence can inspire more girls to take up Martial Arts? Yes. I would like to think so.

10) Where do you see Martial Arts in your life in five years?

Martial arts will always be apart of me. I see it helping me with whatever is down my path.
